Just over the street are council garages which can be rented, and then onto playing fields and farmland with many public footpaths.
The village has most ammenities, including schools, doctors, chemist, shops butchers, bakers, take aways, cash machines, petrol station, post office, garages for car repairs etc.
There is also two main bus routes to York and Market Weighton for connections to Hull and Beverley.

2 bed Exeter for 2/3 bed anywhere on south coast/Kent
We have a 2 bedroom flat which is only 2 high and looks like 2 houses from outside, we have the whole top floor with its own entrance and internal hall. The property comes with a large balconey and front and rear gardens. There is parking outside on the road, and at the bottom of the road is Whipton Barton Primary school and surestart. We have several high schools in very close proximity to our property these are St Peters CofE Aided , St Lukes sports and science college, St James and Clyst Vale Community College. We are within walking distance of a large Sainsburys supermarket and a Tesco superstore is under 1 mile. We have all the local ammenities within walking distance and several sports fields and centres including track and field and 2 swimming pools. Internally the property is in need of a re-paint but nothing major we have put on new doors throughout and have laminate flooring in all rooms apart from the kitchen and bathroom which have ceramic tiles. The bathroom has been tiled floor to ceiling with white tiles and has a shower and bath in place. We also changed the layout of the kitchen to allow for more workable areas. The loft is huge and has loads of storage, there is also a large brick built shed in the rear garden and a large cupboard as you come through the front door. I have lovely neighbours and have no issues with any of them in the summer the children play on the green outside and has a real community feeling. My reasons for wanting to move are purely space!!! I have 2 sons who are 14 and 18 and are still sharing a room. My eldest has started dating and plays rugby (not a small lad) and my youngest plays guitar and attends Combined cadets and air training cadets so has huge amounts of uniform and other bits. I have been very happy here and if given the chance would love to stay in this area, the problem is nobody ever seems to want to move out!!!
