The flats have shared parking bays off the street and its a gated entrance with communal gardens. Its very quiet at night. There are 6 flats where I am, an internal stairway with secure entry system. My neighbours are discreet but friendly. There have been no issues in the flats all the time I've been there (10 years) which is a rarity for london! The flat is pet friendly and allows cats, dogs etc if you have or want one. There's a fantastic huge park with woods, fields and a stream for local dogs 7 mins walk. Golf and a public access bar for humans too. I have been in london a long while and am now looking to re-locate in Brighton where lifes a little slower. There are some very good local shops, the bus service is excellent and the Half moon pub Is very welcoming very pleasant and has a very good menu and welcomes families. There are primary schools in walking distance and a good local secondary school. There are good colleges and the universities are amongst the best in the country .Walking in this area is great for singles and families alike. We are very close to beaches which are clean and friendly .Scotland is just a hop skip and a bus or train ride away. I am close to A1 so have great links with Newcastle and all surrounding areas. Lake District is also a day trip away. I have had no trouble getting employment. My house as a lovely rear garden with shed, green house and a decking area with still space for children or a keen gardener to improve and enjoy. The garden backs up onto fields with woods in the distance. My front garden is fully fenced and as off the road parking behind secure gates. The kitchen is fitted by with intrigrated dishwasher and fridge. There is space for a washer and freezer. The cooker is a large range with hood which I will leave at a small cost. The bathroom is downstairs and fully tiled and has a clean white suite with shower to be left. The three bedrooms are a good size. The flooring throughout the house is in excellent clean condition. Will also leave all blinds which are clean neat and tidy. Loft space boarded floor and sides ready for use .

    I have a 2 bed flat on 5th floor of a stand alone block in Brislington (Bristol). This block is for over 50s only...very quiet, it is an ex-sheltered block and is very well kept. There are 2 lifts always working, a laundry room which is in with the rent, heating in with the rent. The flat itself is airey and has a large balcony, which overlooks the local park (Victory Park). I am a 10 min bus ride to Temple Meads (BR) this goes to Paddington or Waterloo (about 1hr45mins). The other way a bus takes 25 mins to get to Bath. I am looking for a 1 or 2 bed place in North London or as near as possible to be nearer my grandchildren.
